Do you accept walk-ins?

We operate by appointment to ensure a personalized, unrushed experience for every guest. Occasionally, same-day appointments may be available—call or book online to check.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online 24/7 or call/text us during business hours. First-time color clients are encouraged to schedule a consultation so we can match you with the right stylist and service.

Do I need to leave a deposit?

Yes. A 50% deposit is required to secure all new color or specialty service appointments. This deposit applies to your final total and is fully refundable with at least 48 hours’ notice.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Appointments canceled within 24 hours or missed entirely will be charged 50–100% of the service total.

Should I come with clean hair?

Yes—please arrive with clean, dry hair worn down as you normally style it. This allows us to see your hair’s natural texture and movement for the most accurate consultation.

Do you work with curly or textured hair?

Absolutely. Several of our stylists specialize in cutting and coloring curly and wavy textures. Mention your hair type when booking so we can pair you with the right stylist.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead, especially for color or preferred stylists. Our online booking system shows real-time availability and can add you to the waitlist.

Do you offer gender-neutral pricing?

Yes. Our pricing is based on time, product use, and service complexity—not gender. See our Services page for detailed descriptions and starting prices.

What products do you use?

We partner with AVEDA, Innersense Organic Beauty, and KEVIN.MURPHY—professional lines known for high performance, scalp health, and eco-conscious ingredients.

Where are you located and where can I park?

Nova Hair Collective is located in the heart of East Austin at 2124 E 6th St Unit 108, Austin, TX 78702. Free street parking is available, and there is additional paid parking nearby. Please allow extra time during peak traffic hours.

Retail Product Returns

We want you to love your products. Returns are accepted on unopened, unused items within 14 days of purchase.Refunds are issued to the original payment method or as salon credit.

  • All sale/clearance items are final sale.
  • Used products may be exchanged for store credit only.
Service Adjustments (Redo Policy)

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not fully happy with your hair, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment.

  • We’ll schedule a follow-up with the same stylist to make adjustments at no charge.
  • Adjustments refine the original service—they do not change the cut, color, or style direction agreed upon in your consultation.
  • No refunds on services.
  • Requests after 7 days, or for changes outside the original plan, are considered new services and charged accordingly.
