A lover of all things curly, coiled and curated, Shannon specializes in tailoring and painting natural textured hair into organic shapes and colors using a variety of techniques and tools. She loves to collaborate with her clients to achieve the perfect cut and color that suits their lifestyle and personal aesthetic.
Originally from the Deep South, Shannon has over 18 years experience in the ever-changing beauty industry. After owning a successful salon for nearly 8 years in Austin, she is happy to be part of the incredible and inspiring team at Nova Hair Collective. She believes her strong foundation in fundamental haircutting, her expertise in fresh modern haircolor, and her perpetual curiosity to always know more, have contributed to her success as a highly sought-after hairstylist and curl specialist.
Outside of the salon, Shannon can be found obsessively working on projects, rearranging her house (again), cooking, reading and planning her next trip.
